Connor got to go to Lowe's today and build this rad periscope as part of their Build and Grow Program. We met up with some friends and spent about a half hour following the blueprints to build this:
Here's a pic of the kids messing around after they all built their periscopes. Lowe's even gave the kids an apron and a pair of safety goggles. They had little mini hammers too that were perfect size for their hands. the holes were partially pre-drilled to help get things started too.
All in all, this was a lot of fun and we will definitely be doing it again.
