Teeth News

Connor got tooth No. 6 in on Saturday. The left bottom to balance out the other 3 he has on the bottom. Also, I noticed that he is getting is bottom left molar in. Poor baby....he's got an ear infection, a cough, and new teeth in all at the same time. No wonder he's been so fussy of late. He also has one of his canine teeth poking around up top, but not coming out. It's been right at the skin for a little while now.

just like mom

so i've always heard people say how much Connor looks like me, but I could never really see it until my dad showed me this picture of he and I when I was a baby.

some steps pictures

here are some still shots that i got of Connor walking.

and we're walking......

At Grammie's house last night Connor started WALKING!!!!! He took a few steps then was about to sit down when he changed his mind and stood back up. He then took several more steps to get to me! It was so amazing. Grammie and I would move further and further apart and see how far he would go. He went about 8-9 steps most times before he lunged in my lap. He was SO excited! It was awesome to see him laugh each time he realized what he was doing.

It took everything I had not to call Matt the second it happened, but I managed to restrain myself. I really wanted him to see him walking for the first time. The second we walked in the door, I made Matt sit on one end of the hallway then encouraged Connor to go get daddy. He was just as excited as I was. We sat there for at least 15-20 minutes having him walk between the 2 of us.

want some? just kidding!!!

We were at grammie's house last night and Connor had a small bowl of grapes that he was eating. He likes to share his food a lot, which is really cute. So he offers my mom a grape, but when she opens her mouth and leans in to take it, he snatches it back and roars with laughter. He played this game throughout his entire meal. I have no idea where he picked it up, but it was so funny. More and more I see indications that he is going to be one of those people that will do anything to make other laugh. I love it...just like his daddy.
