airplane

A couple weekends ago, Connor's cousin Chloe came to visit. He got to see her and play with her for a few days before they had to leave and go back to Ohio. So tonight, Matt is in Connor's room with him and Connor says "I want see Kelly Chloe" (he's still learning "and") Matt told him that he can't see them now because they live really far away. Connor replies, "get airplane".

I have no idea who told him about airplanes and that is what you have to go on in order to travel far distances, but it's hella funny that he understands the concept.

Here's a pic of his cousin Chloe.

batteries

Last night, Connor comes out of his room with this My First Story Reader book that he has that you can put special books in and it will read them aloud to you. He sets it down on the floor in the kitchen and starts trying to open our all-purpose utility drawer. Matt asked him what he was doing and he said "I need screwdriver."

When Matt asked him why he needed the screwdriver, he points to the screws in his book and says, "needs batteries".

So he knew that the toy wasn't working because it needed new batteries. What's more; he knew that he first needed a screwdriver to open the battery compartment in order to replace the batteries. If that's not an indication of the problem solver he will be as an adult, I don't know what is.

Connor was "helping" Matt with the yard work.

hanging out with Elmo

Elmo Live

Uncle Taylor decided to spoil Connor something fierce this last Christmas and bought him an Elmo Live. Connor absolutely LOVES that thing.

a little late, but still cute

Here are some pics of Connor setting out cookies and milk for Santa on Christmas Eve. He was so cute!

pudding water

So I bought some sugar free pudding for Connor as a good dessert since we don't like him having a lot of sugar. The other night, he had finished his pudding and asked Matt to put some water in the pudding cup. Matt didn't really care, so he gave him some water, thinking Connor would think it was gross. He was wrong. After he was all done drinking the water, Connor said "More pudding water!"
