sneaky snake

so Matt and i are in the bedroom just now chatting while Connor is playing in the living room with some of his guys. All of a sudden i hear a light rattling noise so i get up to see what it is. (Matt continues talking so Connor doesn't realize that I've gotten up.)

here's what i found:

-the sliding door to the living room has been, not only closed, but taped closed. (with scotch tape)

-the jar that I keep chocolate chips in is slightly off to the side

-my son looks at me with the most innocent looking face and says, "What Mom?"

at least he fesses up when i ask him if he stole some chocolate. of course, being Connor, he then asks if he can have some more.

random stuff

i have no idea when this was written down, but i just found this saved on my computer.

apple pie and pumpkin pie cake stirred by optimus prime with brown sugar, black wine sugar, blue paint, red paint, and orange paint.

it's apparently something Connor had made, but I have no more information than that.

zoo fun

We went to the zoo the other day. Checking out the lion cage, Connor says "Lets put a pig in there!" Of course Matt's response was "Yes! Let's!" But sadly, we had no pig. Would have been awesome I'm sure.

Connor: I'm a good fighter, mom. watch this.

(punches and kicks into the air ensue)
