Connor: Which transformer do you want to be: the truck or the motorcycle?
Matt: The truck.
Connor: [wanting the truck] Hey, I know! How about we share?
Matt: Ok, this should be good. Let's share.
Connor: Ok, you can be FIRST ... with the motorcycle.
Matt: Hmm.
Connor: And I'll be LAST ... with the motorcycle.

A few weeks ago, Connor saw an ad for a pampers iPad app that shows you really cool images of your baby for each week of pregnancy. The ad had a mom-to-be holding her iPad next to her stomach so it looked like you could actually see inside the womb. Of course, Connor suggested I should get one.

Today, we're in the car talking about why babies get presents before they are born. I explained to him that he got lots of presents when he was still in my belly. Connor asks me why he couldn't see those presents when he got them. I reminded him that at the time, he was still in my belly so he couldn't see. Connor, being the logical kid that he is says, "Well you should have gotten an iPad so I could see"

Getting Ready for baby Xander

Connor helped Matt set up the crib for Xander last week. He got to help put all the bolts in and was so proud to be able to do it.

Mother's Day

Here's what I got for Mother's Day from Connor:

We were at the Scottish Games and Connor went up to Matt and told him, "I want to buy a necklace for my mom" after having seen a necklace vendor. I was on the other side of the building with Cana, but apparently he took several minutes picking out just the right shade of red for the heart. Matt gave him the cash and Connor even went up to the vendor and paid for it himself. At some point during this whole thing he runs up to me and asks "do you like hearts?". When I told him I did he said, "I'm gonna buy you a heart necklace." then takes off running back to Matt.

Hands down, my favorite gift.

This afternoon when I got home from work, I set about to get some things done around the house. I started a load of laundry, emptied the dishwasher and picked up the house. Then I sat down to have some lunch in my few minutes before I had to leave to pick up Cana from school.

While I was enjoying my lunch, Connor went into my room, got the empty laundry basket, went into the laundry room, emptied the clean clothes out of the dryer and then put the basket on my bed. Then, he comes out and tells me that he put all the clean clothes on my bed in case I wanted to fold them. and all of that....his idea.
