this boy cracks me up! He knows how funny I thought it was when he put on grandma's glasses last time, so he did it again. He's so cute.

making popcorn

My mom got this old school popcorn maker from her work and last week she let Connor help her make popcorn. He LOVES this thing. Of course, he loves popcorn too.

being a boy

Matt found a palm leaf in our front yard and brought it into the backyard for Connor to play with. He then decided that Connor would have more fun if he turned it into a quiver to hold all his sticks in. And I guess he was right because Connor took that thing everywhere with him. It was so cute to see him "driving" with it on his back. He would load it up with sticks then dump them out again.

Connor was brushing his teeth one morning and I happened to have the camera. I just thought this was a pretty cool shot so I thought I would post it up for all to see.

Matt taught Connor how to pretend to sleep the other day. He was so excited to show me. And when I saw what Connor pretending to sleep looked like, I just had to take a picture. He does the full on fake snore and everything.

hanging out with grandpa

Every now and then we go up to some friends' house to hang out for the day. They have quite a bit of property for the kids to run and play on. A new favorite activity for Cana and Connor is to go for a ride with grandpa on the ride-on lawn mower. Our friends like it because they get their grass cut. I'm not sure who likes it more, though, grandpa or the kids...

connor's owie

Connor was playing at school a couple of weeks ago and somehow ended up sliding from the play area to the concrete. He was surprisingly not too upset about it. He was, however, pretty excited to show me when I picked him up from school that day.
