Contractor in Training

Connor got to go to Lowe's today and build this rad periscope as part of their Build and Grow Program. We met up with some friends and spent about a half hour following the blueprints to build this:

Here's a pic of the kids messing around after they all built their periscopes. Lowe's even gave the kids an apron and a pair of safety goggles. They had little mini hammers too that were perfect size for their hands. the holes were partially pre-drilled to help get things started too.

All in all, this was a lot of fun and we will definitely be doing it again.

new jams

Matt went out and bought Connor some new Iron Man jams the other day for Pajama Day at school last week. Here he is the morning of Pajama Day:

mmm cheez-its

Connor while looking in the pantry:
Where are you Cheez-its? You better be here.

promises to a teacher

one of Connor's teachers, Ms. Leslie, told me this morning that he told her yesterday, "You're my best friend!" so cute.

discussing invites

mom: hey connor, who do you want to come to your birthday party?

connor: brian, barkley and darius because they have cool costumes. not travis or landon because they messed up my castle at school today.

connor: ok, landon and travis can go (rolls eyes)
